Fused Multiplexing Transition Boxes for multi-string battery systems

The use of TransiBoxes allows routine periodic testing of batteries to be accomplished without disturbing bolted battery connections, which may reduce integrity of connections.
Total isolation of each battery string is achieved by removal of the appropriate fuse in each enclosure using the puller provided.
The safety of maintenance personnel is assured by insulating all live parts against accidental touch and by locking of the enclosure while isolated.

Transition Boxes are used with battery installations incorporating more than one paralleled string to permit isolation of individual strings for maintenance and testing, to comply with wiring regulations and to enable simple connection of multiple battery cables to the main circuit breaker.
